VTS Workday: Wigi Wetlands

Hey all,
Just a quick reminder that our monthly workday will be this Saturday, the 28th, from 9 to 11am. We have plenty to do now that the soil is nice and wet. We’ll be pulling scotch broom and white sweet clover, and lopping off tons of pampas grass flower stalks. And, of course, we’ll pick up what trash we can.
On a future note, we will have another excavator out for our November workday! We are very excited to dig out more huge pampas grass, scotch broom, and dense-flowered cordgrass. You won’t want to miss that workday! If you are interested in coming in November, have a truck, and are willing to use it haul off some of the pampas grass please let me know. We could definitely use the bed.
