#humtrails celebrated trail stewards at each trail-site this month with new VTS gear & locally sourced goodies: breakfast burritos, pastries, fresh fruits, & warm coffee ☕️🍁
We were also treated with special  thanks from Emily Sinkhorn, Arcata’s Environmental Services Director!

Volunteer Trail Stewards celebrate another awesome Volunteer Trail Stewards celebrate another awesome weekend cleanup, with 19 volunteers pulling invasive pampas grass seed heads and collecting enough trash to fill a 6-yd. dumpster in just over an hour! 
#humboldttrailscouncil gives special thanks to Eureka Mayor Susan Seaman for supporting our volunteers and #trailcommunity ; special thanks to our volunteer trail coordinators and work crews, and to all #cityofeureka staff who are consistently out there each day & month realizing that this basic civic duty is what it takes for a community to survive and retain its integrity & pride amongst economically challenging times 🌎
