VTS Workday: Arcata Community Forest

Dear Wonderful Volunteers,
We will be working in the Arcata Community Forest on Saturday, October 28th for our monthly workday. We will meet at 9 am and work until about 12 (noon). We will meet at the Diamond Drive trailhead and focus on preparation for winter on a number of Community Forest trails. As always, there will be something for everyone. I will again have the usual sandwich buffet.
For those of you not familiar with the Diamond Drive trailhead, perhaps this map will help. Go north on L.K. Wood Blvd. to Diamond Drive. The trailhead is .8 mile UP on Diamond Drive. If you need more detailed instructions let me know.
RSVP to me (hughes@humboldt.edu) if you intend to come on the 28th. Please stay home if you are not feeling well.
As you know we work rain or shine. I’ll have the usual supply of work gloves and snacks. But, bring your own water.
