Greetings, Trail Stewards!
It’s time again for our monthly volunteer workday in the McKay Community Forest! We hope you can join us this weekend:
Saturday, May 4th
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
For this workday, we’re aiming to finish rocking another significant section of the upper Redwood Acres loop. We hope you can make it, as now is a great time to help bring this trail to completion! Bring your appetites, we’ll have a hearty lunch prepared by noon, thanks to John & Jean!
Meet at Redwood Fields on Fern St. (off Walnut Drive) in Cutten, at the storage container adjacent to the parking lot at 9:00 AM to collect tools & supplies and touch base on workday guidelines before heading out on the trails.
We work rain or shine – We’re expecting cloudy weather with a chance of rain in the afternoon, so it’d be good to bring a rain jacket just in case!
General Volunteering Guidelines:
Many thanks to the Rotary Club of Southwest Eureka as well as Boy Scouts Troop 27 for making our April workday both fun and productive!
Thanks, everyone — see you on the trail!
