Arcata Community Forest VTS Workday

Dear Amazing Volunteers,
Summer is upon us and everything is growing! Consider joining us this Saturday, June 24th workday. We’ll start at 9 am and end about noon. We are going to be back on the Bay Trail North mowing, weedeating, clipping fennel before it blooms, knocking back blackberries, picking up trash, and more. Should be more than enough for everyone! We work rain or shine.
I encourage you to bring your own gloves (I’ll have some extra gloves) and water . . . we’ll meet in the small lot near the City of Arcata ‘Corporation’ Yard. See the map below. Let me know if you need more directions.
Rick Saria, HTC Board member, has offered to make some manner of vegetarian hot/warm lunch for us. Big thank you to Rick!
It is nice to know how many volunteers are coming so that I can better prepare tasks and tools and give a sense of numbers of eaters to Rick. It would be great if you RSVP to me at hughes@humboldt.edu
