VTS Workday at Hikshari’ Trail

Good Morning Trail Stewards:

Tomorrow is our regularly scheduled workday, and I have learned Pacout will be setting up at the Elk River Road Park and ride.

So you have two options:  you can help Pacout work at the southern end of the trail for an hour, then rejoin the trail Stewards for the second hour. Pacout has the manpower to haul out entire abandoned encampments, so they really help keep us from getting overwhelmed.

The second option is to start at Hilfiker, as usual. Mark will be bringing water for the triangle, and has suggested berry vines along the path need to be pruned.

Whichever you choose, don’t forget to sign in, and bring mosquito spray!
