VTS Workday with McKinleyville Land Trust

Dear McKinleyville Land Trust Volunteer Trail Stewards,
Hope you are all enjoying your summer and the beautify weather this weekend. Please join us on Sunday, July 23 from 10 am – 12 pm at our Mad River Bluffs property for a Volunteer Trail Stewards workday. Park at the Mad River Bluffs parking area at the corner of Ocean Avenue and Hiller Road. See map below.
Our trails are quite overgrown with vegetation and need to be cut back to restore a good trail width in places. For those that like to combat ivy, we would like to focus on cutting climbing ivy off of trees. We will be working rain or shine. Please bring your own gloves, hand clippers, and water if you can. We will supply light snacks, water, hand sanitizer, gloves and trash bags as well as some hand tools. It would be wonderful if you can RSVP so we have an idea for how many will be attending. We hope to see you there.
