We supply gloves and tools (or you can bring your own). We also have a selection of snacks and beverages available.
For our Sunday, April 7th, 9:00-11:00am workday, we will be weeding and weed-eating around Clark Slough. If you like rock-climbing, then this is your lucky day!

Clark Slough is the fenced area across the street from the Wharfinger building. The banks of the slough are steep and reinforced with rip-rap. Two years ago we removed the Fennel and Pampas Grass that was over-growing the banks of the slough.  Since then, we have planted hundreds of native plants on the banks. Until the native plants get established, we need to do a lot of weeding (we provide the hand tools) .

If you are more interested in weed-eating, the weeds along the fence surrounding Clark Slough need to be whacked. We will supply a weed-eater, but it would be great if volunteers could bring their own.

There is also an opportunity to pick up litter throughout the area.

Snacks and Beverages afterwards!
New and Old, Regular and Occasional — All Volunteers are welcome!
The weather forecast for Sunday is a chance of showers, so you may want to consider rainwear
