Hello to all of you,
I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and is ready to get back to work!
We have our upcoming trail work day this Saturday the 18th. It looks like the weather all week will be sunny and dry.
I hope to cut back the overgrown vegetation on either side of the trail which goes under the Samoa bridge. The overgrowth starts near the Humboldt Rowing Club building and continues north of the Samoa bridge. I am asking for the weed wackers from the City again and we can drive a group over there, if enough volunteers come on Saturday. I have an email out to the Cal Poly Natural Resources Club to see if any students will be able to join us. There is always the need to pick up trash and cut back invasive plants on other sections of the trail.
Some of the signage overlooking the trail has grafiti unfortunately.
We will work from 9-11am and meet first at X and 1st street.
Looking forward to seeing all of you and thank you for all you do everyday!!
