VTS Workday at Wigi Wetlands

Hey everyone,
Just a quick reminder that our next volunteer workday will be this Saturday, the 26th, from 9 to 11am. We’ll meet in our usual spot behind Walmart at the Bayshore Mall. It’s gonna be a pretty simple, but very fun (at least in my opinion) workday. Mainly, we will focus on removing the rest of the ice plant growing at the edge of the beach. We’ll enjoy great views of the birds and the bay while we work! Besides the ice plant, we have white sweet clover and small batches of scotch broom to remove in the nearby area. Lastly, we have the usual trash to pick up throughout the site.
It’s going to be a beautiful day, so why not spend the morning getting outside and doing some restoration. Hope to see you all out there.
