DESCRIPTION:Join Volunteer Trail Stewards (VTS) for “Delta Force” Weekly Workdays at the McKay Community Forest \n \nThis volunteer crew meets weekly to accomplish more labor-intensive trail construction projects within the McKay Community Forest. \nTrail-building experience with outdoor tools and equipment is not necessary but it is extremely helpful. \nThere is a wide variety of trail projects and tasks available for all ages and abilities! \n  \nWhen:\nTuesdays & Wednesdays\n9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.\nPlease aim to arrive by 9:00 so that all tools & supplies are secured before heading out on the trails. Volunteers are not required to stay for full workdays but are asked to arrive at 9:00 so as to easily locate the volunteer crew and varying trail worksites.   \nWhere:\nMeet at the storage container at Redwood Fields parking lot on Fern St. (off of Walnut Drive) in Cutten\, Eureka. \nWhy? Build a lasting impact in our community by helping construct new trails that support a diverse range of recreational opportunities for all ages and abilities.
