Wigi Wetlands VTS Workday

Hello wonderful past, present, and future volunteers,
The monthly wigi wetland workday is coming up this Saturday, the 28th from 9 to 11am. It looks like it’s gonna be a nice day, so why not spend the morning outside in nature helping to create a healthier local ecosystem.
We may get some rain Friday night, so my plan for the morning is to have a group work on uprooting scotch broom that’s already been cut, another group work on cutting and pulling smaller scotch broom plants that won’t have any nesting birds, and anyone else work on picking up the inevitable trash that has found its way to the site.
As always, we’ll meet directly behind Walmart at the Bayshore Mall. Please feel free to text or email me if you have any questions or concerns.
