Northcoast Regional Land Trust VTS Workday

The Humboldt Trails Council and the Northcoast Regional Land Trust are hosting a trail work event this Sunday, May 21, from 9 AM to noon, at Freshwater Farms Reserve (5851 Myrtle Ave, Eureka). These events happen on the third Sunday of each month from April through the end of October. We’ll have FREE Los Bagels & Kinetic Koffee to keep you going. All tools, gloves, safety equipment, and training are provided. These events are part of the Northcoast Regional Land Trust’s Coastal Connections Event Series, made possible by grant funding from the California Coastal Commission’s WHALE TAIL grant program. This month, we will rehabilitate a portion of the trail, spread mulch along this area, plant native wildflower seeds and shrubs, and thin out some willows hanging over the trail, using them as trail borders.
