Greetings, Hammond Trail Stewards,
The next Hammond Saturday work day happens 11/6/21, 9am-11am, meeting at Hiller Park. We will be tending the usual – weedeat, trash pick up, signs cleanup, prune, remove invasives, etc., and we may also have a small fencing project – your choice. There is no need for individuals to rsvp, but if you have a group of 4 or more coming, please email me a heads up for both safety and planning purposes.
If the weather is too forbidding, I will send a cancellation email by Friday 11/5. Otherwise, the group tends to meet even if there is light rain– your choice on attending!
Updated safety scoop:
Please wear a mask and maintain 6′ distancing when we are gathered at the meeting location and out on the trail when others approach.
Please consider attending only if you are comfortable with the new conditions, and you are not showing any symptoms of illness.
Water and wrapped treats will be available in the morning (please bring your own mug).
Hand sanitizer will be available on the hospitality table, along with sanitizer for tools and gloves courtesy Humboldt Trails Council and County Parks.
Please email me if you have any questions. We’ll hope to see you there!
Stacy, Hammond VTS Coordinator
