Eureka Waterfront North VTS Workday

Hello, Trail Stewards!

Our April workday is fast approaching. We’re finally getting some much needed precipitation (rain and hail). We’ll be working, rain or shine. Just a chance of showers on Saturday.

We will be removing trash and non-native plants, from Tydd St. to the Adorni Center.

Here are the details:

When: Saturday, April 16, from 9-11am

Where: We meet at the foot of X St. where it intersects with 1st St. in front of the Blue Ox Millworks

How: We have gloves, loppers, trash bags and pickers. We also provide homemade cookies and water. Come prepared with appropriate clothing: long sleeved shirt, sturdy shoes and a rain jacket (in case the current forecast pans out).

Why: You get to meet and work with others who share your interest in trail maintenance. You get that good feeling, knowing that you are contributing to the health and welfare of the trail community. The trail provides amazing vistas and is a pleasure to visit.
