Arcata Community Forest VTS Workday

Dear Wonderful Trail Stewards,

It has been wonderful to have a few days of sunshine but the forest remains very wet.  So we will focus our efforts on the Bay Trail North and the Marsh for our upcoming workday, Saturday, March 25, from 9 am – 12 (noon). We will gather at the small parking lot just north of the City Corporation Yard. We will work rain or shine!  We’ll be picking up trash, knocking back some invasives, running the riding mower along the trail, doing some trail maintenance.  There is plenty to do as this winter reluctantly transitions to spring.

I encourage you to park in the AMIC (Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center) parking lot on South ‘G’ Street and walk over to the small parking lot in front of the entrance to the City of Arcata Corporation Yard.  See my map below (or let me know if you need more directions).
