Cirque Disco-leil

Saturday, November 8, 7:30pm

Arcata Ridge Trail Benefit

For Arcata Ridge Trail fans age 21 and older

Tickets are $20

The disco-themed event's focus is “bridging the gap” – gaining funding for a bridge to allow the Ridge Trail in Arcata to cross Janes Creek near its northern entrance on West End Road.

Cirque Disco-leil will feature Caravan of Glam, a company of drag performers, a super sexy Good Relations fashion show with the Va Va Voom Burlesque Vixens modeling, performances from the Humboldt Roller Derby, Samba Quente and David Bingham and the Healthsport Disco Dancers, DJ Joe E from the Deep Groove Society will be spinning fantastic after show tunes for disco lovers to get their dance on, and there will be lots of other surprises. In addition to all the activities, we will be hosting an auction for attendees to bid on Humboldt’s finest goods and services and would love for your business to be involved. Would you consider donating an item or making a monetary donation to the Arcata Ridge Trail?

As with “Bat ’N’ Rouge, “politicals and notables” – local public officials and celebrities will be summoned to appear and submit to mischievous aspirations all in good fun for the Arcata Ridge Trail. Prizes will be awarded for best disco-themed costumes and dance moves.

Get ready to quench your thirst with local brews from Six Rivers, Lost Coast, Mad River and Redwood Curtains Breweries. Humboldt Hot Sauce and Humboldt Distillery will offer Bloody Marys and other cocktails. When you're hungry, Crush's Retro Wagon will be there to fill your stomach.

Interested sponsors and volunteers are invited to contact Debi at (707) 845-3873.

Thank you very much and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday, November 8th at the Arcata Community Center.
